The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin the construction the Metro Cebu Expressway this year. This will link Carcar City to Danao City with a total distance of 74 kilometer. This is built to shorten the travel time between the said two cities. This will also solve the worsening traffic in Metro Cebu. There is no definite date yet when it will be finished. This is part of the present’s administration program and plans for infrastructure.

We can expect a better Cebu in the next two years. More tourists will surely come and tour in the city. Hopefully, the number of visitors will spike up to a better percentage from the previous year.
